Week 1: Game of the Week

Adam said:

This week’s game of the week was Boston V.S. Cleveland on Friday night. Both teams were ranked top in the East Coast as number 1 and number 2. Cleveland coming into the game was 18-0 at home this season. The Cavaliers were looking for some vengeance against the Celtics after what happen last year in the Eastern Semi losing to Boston 4-3 . Going into Friday night’s game, Boston lost 6 out of its last 8 games, but with Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, and Kevin Garnett things can change and this wasn’t going to be easy for Cleveland. After half time Cleveland had a commanding lead over Boston 49-40. Cleveland shot better than Boston on the field, shooting slightly over 50% while Boston was only shooting 41%. The game resulted as a victory for the Cavaliers 98-83. Superstar LeBron James knocked down 38 points along with 7 rebounds, 6 assist, and shooting over 50% on the field proving that he is the top candidate for this years run for MVP.

Here are the highlights from the game:

Lebron is just big and athletic, he still needs to develop his jump shot to be on Kobe or Jordan's level.

Just big and athletic? The man got mad skills coming straight out of high school and look at what all he's done so far. He's carried his whole entire team on his back by himself and leading them into the finals and multiple playoff appearance.

I think LeBron James deserves to be MVP. He is a bad ass basketball player that scores points in dramatic fashion. He's the franchise name of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He's crazy rich and he's only 24 years old. He's a baller, MVP status.

X2 on that J-Chan. Seriously, he is young and already doing so well.

Garnett's good, but I think he's overrated. His constant bs is the reason for the Celtics' current losing streak. They really need to shape up if they plan on beating teams with a more impressive record than 16-23.

Hmmm overrated...I might agree with you on there, but I'd have to think of some reason why I think he's a bit overrated.

Garnett overrated? He is one of the most complete players in the NBA man.... Check the career stats... He was stuck on some crappy Minnesota teams, wasn't his fault. Garnett has NO WEAKNESSES. Only reason his numbers are down the last 2 years are because he doesn't play freaking 40+ minutes a game anymore, since he is on a GOOD TEAM now.... BOOM SHAKA LAKA!!!

No, you're totally wrong (partly because you're not Kris). And you like Dallas which meens ur even more wrong and stuff cuz Dallas isn't even in California, it iz like 150 miles away in Russia or something (Go america! Down with Dallas, Russia!) Frozen communists are like the worst basketball players ever. For one its Cuz you gotta play street ball to be good, and you can't play in the streets cuz it's cold and you have to wear shorts. And two iz cuz Hitler said they couldn't and there's still people there who follow him.
